Where We Do School

Not Back to School Blog Hop

I haven't had much time to post anything (hopefully I can soon), but I would like to join this week's blog hop from Heart of the Matter Online, so I'm going to show you where we do school...mostly.

When we're in England (which is most of the school year), we do school in the dining room.

On nice days in England, we do school outside on the picnic table. We get too little sunshine in England to stay indoors when it's nice!

Right now, we're in the US (staying with my parents)! We don't start school until after Labor Day because my kids did school until July 15, and we're on summer vacation right now. Anyway, because we'll be here until October 20, we'll be starting school here in the US. And I found the perfect place to make our school room! My parents have been working on a cabin in the woods for the past 5 years. It's not finished yet, but enough is done to make it a temporary schoolhouse...and a beautiful one too! I'm going to take out their tub of wooden blocks and also some nice floor puzzles (things I couldn't take with me to England) for them to play with during breaks.
