Here are some of the winter books we've reading right now. We're also including Arctic stories. Sylvester and the Magic Pebble is only included because it's winter in one part of the book.
By the way, I don't actually have the English/French version of Little Polar Bear, but the regular version wasn't available for this carousel.
The Christmas one is a bit late, but I wanted to share what we read--just like I did at Thanksgiving:
I have loads of books still in storage in Missouri. Unfortunately there is no cheap way to get ALL my books to England, so there are still lots of favorite Christmas and winter books I never seem to get to read to my kids! Ah well, maybe someday....

Love the magazine rack you found! Your thrift stores must be amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your books. We love to read and I, like you, have lots of book in storage in the states. I miss them. :(
They are pretty amazing! When I first moved here, I was depressed to find out that yard sales are mostly unheard of in England...and I'm a yard-sale junkie! But then I discovered the charity shops. Most towns in England have several. Ours has at least 7 in the town center alone, and those are the ones I mostly go to. There are several more outside the town center. The next city over also has several when we get a chance to go. They're just as good as yard sales, and I never come home empty-handed. But I usually have to wait until my husband is able to give me some money. : )
